About Me
Black Forest Cyber was built on a simple belief: cybersecurity should be practical, effective, and aligned with how organizations actually operate.
I have spent my career helping businesses strengthen security, reduce risk, and make smarter decisions about cybersecurity strategy. My background includes leading global pre-sales engineering organizations, shaping security strategy across multiple industries, and working with executive teams to align technology decisions with business priorities.
Over the years, I have worked with organizations ranging from large enterprises to complex regulated environments, supporting security initiatives that balance protection, usability, resilience, and long-term business goals. My experience spans industries including semiconductor manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, food and beverage, energy, and other business-critical sectors.
I previously served in leadership roles at TXOne Networks, a Trend Micro spin-off, where I led vertical strategy and pre-sales engineering efforts across North America and Latin America. I also co-authored the NIST Cybersecurity Framework Community Profile for Semiconductor Manufacturing and contributed to adoption guidance for SEMI E187 and E188 cybersecurity standards.
Those experiences reinforced an important lesson: strong cybersecurity is not built through fear, complexity, or endless checklists. It is built through practical planning, clear priorities, and solutions that fit the business.
What I Believe
Every organization deserves a cybersecurity approach that matches its size, goals, and risk profile.
For enterprise organizations, that often means aligning security strategy with business objectives, improving visibility, strengthening resilience, and building a roadmap that supports growth without adding unnecessary complexity.
For small businesses, it means cutting through the noise and focusing on the fundamentals that make the biggest difference — reducing risk, protecting critical systems and data, improving preparedness, and making smart decisions without overinvesting in tools or services they do not need.
I believe in:
-
Practical security over unnecessary complexity
-
Risk-based decision-making over checkbox compliance
-
Clear visibility into systems, users, and exposure
-
Security strategies aligned with business priorities
-
Measured improvement that supports productivity and resilience

Why Black Forest
Black Forest Cyber is named for Colorado’s Black Forest region, where resilience, strength, and enduring foundations are part of the landscape.
That same philosophy shapes the work I do. Good cybersecurity should be grounded, layered, and built to last.

Cybersecurity is no longer optional for organizations of any size. But it does not have to be overwhelming.
Black Forest Cyber helps businesses take a practical approach to security — one that reduces risk, supports growth, and brings clarity to a complex landscape.
